1. Insulation of Diesel Engine
In order to ensure the reliable operation of diesel engine, reduce fuel consumption and reduce mechanical wear, it is necessary to do a good job of insulation. It can cover the radiator with a cloth curtain in front of the diesel radiator to reduce heat loss and keep the machine temperature not too low.
2. Check the thermostat of water-cooled diesel engine
If the diesel engine often operates at low temperature, the wear and tear of the engine parts will be doubled. In order to make the temperature rise rapidly in winter, the thermostat can be removed, but it must be reinstalled before summer comes.
3. Clean up the scale in the water jacket and check the water discharge switch
Clean water jacket to prevent fouling from affecting heat dissipation. At the same time, water release switch should be maintained in winter and replaced in time. Bolts or rags should not be used instead to prevent frost cracking.
4. Filling antifreeze
Before using antifreeze, the cooling system should be thoroughly cleaned, and high-quality antifreeze should be selected to avoid corrosion of machine parts due to the inferior quality of antifreeze. In winter, the diesel engine is started by adding hot water at about 80 C every day. After the operation, all the cooling water must be exhausted and the switch is still in the open position.
