  1. Choosing suitable tyres for forklift truck operation

Choosing the right tire is the first step to ensure the best performance of industrial solid tires. The working conditions of material handling service shall determine the type of equipment and tyres to be used. Only when the forklift truck is equipped with suitable tires for service application can the service life of industrial tires be maximized.

  2. Check tires regularly

Tire inspection should be done at least once a week - once a day if possible. Note and remove broken glass, nails, embedded metal scraps on tires, etc. If the tire tread is found to wear irregularly or too quickly, this is often due to mechanical failure, such as brake failure or four-wheel alignment is not in place. If found, please correct it immediately.

  3. Lubricate forklift trucks regularly

Proper lubrication, especially for engines and braking systems, will ensure free rolling operation of forklift trucks and reduce tire resistance without skidding. Avoid excessive lubrication because grease and oil spills are harmful to most rubber compounds.

  4. Adjust brake

Wheels are part of the braking system of many vehicles. Brake failure can lead to brake delay and generate a lot of heat, which may lead to tire burst and other problems.

  5. Check axis alignment and steering

Regular inspection of steering gear and axle alignment to avoid rapid or irregular tire wear and delamination.

  6. Keep tires clean

Make sure that the tires and forklift trucks are kept clean enough to avoid damage to the tires caused by sundries falling into the gap between the tires and the forklift trucks.

  7. Install the tire in the center of the wheel

If the tire is not properly mounted on the wheel, it will cause the tire slipper.

  8. Use appropriate equipment

Don't take on vehicles that are too light for cost savings or temporary use than handling. Vehicle overloading may be unsafe and may cause damage to forklifts, tyres, drivers and the goods they carry.
